COMMUNITY BRAIN INJURY SERVICES (CBIS)

Our Community Brain Injury Services (CBIS) are available to adults 16 – 64 years of age who have an acquired brain injury resulting from trauma or stroke.

We can work with individuals and/or families to improve abilities in the following areas:

  • Activities of Daily Living (e.g. personal care, household tasks)
  • Mobility
  • Communication
  • Cognitive (i.e. memory, problem solving)
  • Emotional (anxiety, depression, adjustment)
  • Social Activity
  • Leisure and work
  • Community Living (e.g. money management, shopping skills, travel)
